Focus RS. So, these two Eco cars really cover quite the gambit. First, we will take a look at the Fiesta a
stylish little pocket racer that won’t break the bank when you pull off the lot nor when
you pull up to the pump. The Fiesta comes in 4 different trims the S, SE, Luxurious
Titanium and Sporty ST. The ST is the only variant available strictly in hatch form. The Fiesta can be had with either a standard 1.6L 4 Cyl or in the SE an optional 1.0L 3
Cyl Ecoboost. Both mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. While the ST exclusively offers
the 1.6L Ecoboost good for 197 Horses mated to a 6 Speed manual transmission. The Fiesta is also pretty roomy for such a
small car with 85.1 Cubic feet available in the hatch. Front passengers enjoy 39.1 Inches
of headroom and 43.6 inches of leg room. Cargo capacity is 12.8 in the sedan and bumps up
to 14.9 in the hatch. The Focus is not too shabby either boasting
even more interior space that the Fiesta. 90 cubic feet overall with the front passengers
getting 38.3 inches of headroom and 43.1 inches of legroom. The cargo area in the Focus sedan
has 13.

2 cubic feet and the hatchback 23.3 cubic feet that’s a lot of room to haul
in such a small car! The Focus is offered in even more trim levels
that the Fiesta including the S, SE, SEL, Titanium, Electric, ST, and RS. The engines
range from a standard 2.0L with 160 Horsepower, a 1.0L 3 Cylinder Ecoboost with 123 horsepower,
and the performance geared 2.0L Ecoboost in the ST kicking out 252 horsepower and 270lb.
of torque and the mighty 2.3L Ecoboost in the RS good for an astonishing 350 horsepower
and 350lb. of torque. There is also the electric engine for the Eco minded that delivers
an equivalent of 143 horsepower while giving you up to 118 MPGe and a EV range of 115 miles.

Both vehicles have a comfortable easy to use
interior with great tech features. Sync 3 with Apple Car Play and Android Auto are available
on both models.

Push button start, back up camera’s, and USB ports offer convince in
both the Fiesta and the Focus. Along with Driver Assist technologies like the reverse
sensing system, BLIS with cross traffic alert, lane keeping, and active park assist you can
outfit these economy cars to rival the likes of the much more expensive luxury cars from
across the pond. Determining the winner of the Ford Focus vs
Fiesta isn’t the easiest of tasks since we love them both so much. However, we’d
like to invite you to stop by our lot and give the Fiesta and Focus a test drive and
decide which one you like best. At Richmond Ford West, we’re always happy
to help because we are Driven by You!!! .
